MUSIC CURATOR RESIDENCY / DIGITAL ARCHIVE / SYNC MUSIC
Omasah Estate Television
/ABOUT THE PROJECT
Omasah Estate Television is an ongoing series of curator-driven soundtracks by various creatives for imagined visual media spanning TV shows, sitcoms, documentaries, and films. The music is mainly centered around R&B/Soul, Hip Hop, Jazz, and Reggae, both local and international. Unlike traditional playlists, each curation is anchored by an original plot and title, with music sequenced to reflect specific narrative arcs, character moments, and emotional beats. The series strives to create a listening experience that embodies cinematic tension, nostalgic warmth, and euphoric release; transporting its audience not just through sound, but through story also. The series also functions as an art residency programme for music curators to improve their skills in narrative sequencing, sync music storytelling, mood mapping, and audio-visual data collection. In essence, Omasah Estate Television is a story-driven universe that bridges the gap between listeners, curators, artists, and the world of visual media — it is a capsule of sync cinematic wonder. Tap into the frequency, witness the unseen.
